Building a Recognizable Brand

So if you put the pieces together, and form the image that will become your brand, you are off to a great start. Now you have to get it out there in front of the people, show them what it means, and help them associate it with your business. Headers

Banners - that’s what we used to call the blocks that sat at the top of your web pages. They held your business name and maybe a graphic. Today we build headers that do so much more than just sit there. Headers present information about what you offer and to whom, they are right up front on every page, consistently displaying your signature colors and logo. Your header can hold your tag line and even contain a call to action. It is a synopsis of who you are and it’s all there at a glance. It helps visitors recognize your brand and know that they are in the right place - your place! You need a great header for your web site and blog.

Facebook Business Pages

Facebook allows users to create business pages. This is basically a web site for your business inside Facebook. It allows you to interact with your customers and stay in touch with them. If you are not using Facebook for your blog or business, you’re falling behind a bit. There are now over 500 million users active on Facebook and every month people spend a total of over 700 billion minutes on Facebook. That’s a lot of potential customers! So go create a business page on Facebook (it needs to be separate from your personal page and groups pages) and increase your brand exposure!

Buttons and Branded Social Icons

If you visit blogs or write a blog for your business, you know what I mean by buttons and social icons. Your blog and buttons should use the same branding as your web site - the same colors, images, fonts, message - but in a compact form.

Social icons are the standard graphical icons that each social media site uses: Facebook, X, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, and the list goes on. People readily recognize and use them to share links and information with other users. I can custom-design a set of social cons that match your brand in color and design to connect your visitors to your social media pages.The icons can be used as active links on your web site and blog.
